June 2013 Wine Club release and pick-up party

Join Alan and Sandra Silvestri at our new tasting room on 7th between San Carlos and Dolores in Carmel-by-the-Sea on Sunday August 25, 2013 between 12:00-4:00 pm for a Wine Club pick-up party. Enjoy an afternoon of Silvestri wine, small bites, meet our new winemaker Frank Melicia and pick up your wine.
WINE CLUB JUNE 2013 RELEASE
August 2013. What happened to June and July you ask? They disappeared. Our tasting room move from Carmel Valley into Carmel-by-the-Sea was quite a process but we are now open and ready. It's time for the Wine Club release. We are also introducing you to our new winemaker, Frank Melicia and his first two wines: the 2012 Pinot Gris and the 2012 Rosé. We are excited and thrilled with Frank and these wines as well as with what is to come.
2012 Pinot Gris - $25 - Case production: 80
Pinot Gris, an incredible summertime wine. This wine exudes pear, kiwi, lemon lime, honey and rose petal. It has tropical fruit exploding on the palate with a medium-full body. The Pinot Gris reminds me of the childhood days selling lemonade to the neighborhood, just a dazzling and refreshing wine sure to make you smile. This won't last long with only 80 cases made. Fortunately it is available to only the Wine Club and at the tasting room.
Enjoy as an aperitif, coifing or with light food fare i.e., pan seared fish, chicken or a Panzanella (tomato/bread) salad.
2012 Rosé - $25 - Case production: 100
A Pinot Noir Rosé with aromas of cherries, strawberries, watermelon and (believe it or not) a hint of grape show off aromatically. This is a full bodied, dry and rich Rosé. A perfect accompaniment to summer. For full perfection just add people, a bonfire, and a sunset.
Another hand crafted, small production wine available to the Wine Club and tasting room only. Throw some salmon on the grill, open a bottle of Rosé and all is well.
