Oscar-nominated and Grammy-winning composer Alan Silvestri may be best known for providing the scores to Hollywood blockbusters like "Back to the Future," "Forrest Gump" and, most recently, Marvel's "The Avengers," but the longtime Carmel resident also owns a small production vineyard in the Carmel Valley. At Silvestri's 6-month-old tasting room, taste five current release wines for $7 or build your own flight of five, including two library wines, for $10 (fees waived with purchase of two bottles or more).
