Harvest! Finally!
It was slow arriving, but I believe it is without a doubt one of the most beautiful harvests we have ever had. Yes, we are still hoping to get EVERYTHING in before the rains but so far soooooo good! Alan and I made it home from London and New York with a last-minute cross-country road trip. It was a lot of driving, but it was wonderful to see our fabulous country in all of its autumn glory. We have been spending a lot of time in the vineyard since we came home, soaking up the fresh air and gorgeous colors. Carmel Valley and all of the vineyards are very soothing in a world of trauma and fear. Finding peace in these beautiful places renews our faith in each other and helps mend broken hearts. Of course, wine is just a small part of the ceremony we share as we seek peace, but it is a lovely way to spend an evening talking and coming together. Speaking of wine…. we have also had a few sips of Frank's marvelous new brew and I promise you that it is one of his best! Bravo Frank!
This November brings a new member to the Silvestri family. Our son, James, will take a beautiful bride, Ashley, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome her to our family. Weddings are the way our culture joins families in love and renews our faith in the future. We are so happy to have this beautiful woman in our lives to help remind us of the promise.
As our family celebrates this happy moment and prepares for the holiday season, we wish YOUR family a very happy Thanksgiving. A little turkey, a little wine and a lot of love to you all.

From The Winemaker

We always offer Frank a chance to speak for the vineyard and the wine and this month was no different. But Frank tells us he will have get back to us when he is not elbow deep in crush and juice. No problem, Frank. We will leave the "talk" to the "talkers". We know you are represented best by your wine. Stay well and don't forget to write. LOLOL

Our late summer has arrived, and we are happy to feel some heat. Come in to the Silvestri tasting room and stay cool sipping on some whites. The tasting room will continue to be open from 12-6pm daily. Our tasting flight has a taste for any palate.
