"Countdown Commencing!" as they say at the beginning of every "Back to the Future the Musical". Countdown is DEFINITELY commencing in the vineyard, too, as bottling finishes and harvest begins. So far it has been an amazing year. The sun shone, there was only a smidgen of moisture, and the wind blew as we like it every day. I hate to even say these words because I truly do not like to tempt fate BUT…..sometimes you get lucky. Right? And as in everything in life…Getting lucky is good. LOL
Alan and I have had the most amazing summer, too. He is finishing work on "Electric State" with the Russo Brothers and soon we will travel to London to record the music. When that is complete, he will begin work on a Shane Black movie called "Play Dirty". In addition, there will be trips to New York and Los Angeles to support the musical and to launch the musical in Tokyo in 2025!! It's a busy life but it's fun as well as hard work. And all along we get to live in Carmel and enjoy the life we have built which includes the vineyard and YOU. Thank you to all of you who support our vineyard and who go to the movies!!! LOL We couldn't do either without you. We have enjoyed meeting many of you this summer. Thank you for saying Hi. We love it.
In closing, we are looking forward to harvest and our new grandchild due in October. GO Ashley and James!!

Hello everyone! This August completes my first year as the Silvestri Vineyards sales representative for wholesale business. The year went by fast as there were many things to learn and businesses to meet. Hopefully you've noticed Silvestri wines available at some of your favorite restaurants or wine shops in Monterey County. Direct recommendations from our loyal customers have helped us immensely. If you happen to be out of the area but in California, you can pick up Silvestri wines in a pinch at your local Total Wine & More. Available in over 42 locations! It was a beautiful summer day at the Winemaker's Celebration. Now let's welcome the fall season with an evening of food, wine, and music at Taste of Carmel's Masquerade at the Mission on October 3rd. Hello September,
We love our extended summer here in Carmel-by-the-Sea.
The days stay warm, and the wine continues to be poured.
It has been nice to see many new faces coming to visit our quaint tasting room as well as seeing all the familiar ones.
We have so much to look forward to in this month. Our main focus is the release of our September Wine Club. We plan to release the wine the last weekend of the month and ship out that following Monday to our out-of-state members. Come by to pick-up your wines at the end of the month and enjoy a tasting with the tasting room crew! If that isn't exciting enough to get you to come by, this month's wine club release will include the new 2021 Barbera, Estate. It has been sold out at the tasting room for about a month, and we have all definitely missed it.
The tasting room staff have had our hands full! We participated in the very successful Wine Maker's Celebration, went to the vineyard to bottle wine and are now preparing for the release of wine club. I guess you can call us workaholics, but it doesn't feel like work when we are enjoying what we do!
